Inventors Joe Lemay and Jake Epstein were both “notebook guys,” but more and more found themselves wanting to maintain their notes in the cloud. “We tried every digital pen you can imagine, but no piece of hardware felt as natural as pen and paper. And another battery to charge? Forget it. When we looked at the notebook industry, we wondered, why hasn’t there been more innovation?
